Shirt Design
You will create a shirt design as the assignment and post to your website for marking.
If you choose to print the vinyl cutout it must follow the requirements for the vinyl cutter. The vinyl cutter cuts along paths - if you press command y - you are in outline mode and can see where the cut lines are for the vinyl cutter.
Watch the following tutorial on how to set up your file for vinyl cutting.

To set up your Illustrator file for the vinyl cutter remember that the cutter will only cut paths. No strokes!
Your font must be converted to outlines.
Your design must be reflected to do this select your entire logo - Object - Transform - Reflect - Select the Vertical Reflect option. (You cut the back...)
Consider the size you want your design to be on your shirt. Your file needs to be set inch for inch (meaning the size that your file is - is the size that it will print - use your rulers).
Decide on the colours that you will use - you must separate the paths for printing - ask for help if you get to this stage and need assistance. Also please see the vinyl colours available.
You must provide the shirt that you would like to put your logo on.
